Father Mystery.

Father Mystery inexplicably.

Father Mystery Inexplicably.

In the beginning Mystery. Inexplicably always. Mystery is in control and we do not and cannot understand Mystery's ways. Mystery's weird ways.

Father Mystery's Clock.

Father Mystery's clock does not tick tock like a man's clock. The time on Father Mystery's clock is not for man to know.

Father Mystery's Secret Kingdom.

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.” - Mark 4:11

His Secret Kingdom.

His secret kingdom is in me chaotically. A kingdom within a body within a world made of many small kingdoms. A frequently forgetful heart dumbly decides to live outside the gates of the secret kingdom. How the heart is battered outside the protective walls of the secret kingdom. Enter the kingdom and draw the bridge.

The Table In The Secret Kingdom.

Father Mystery prepares a meal.

Father Mystery At The Table.

Waiting as the patient lover. Calling, “Come sit at my table, come drink with me, come eat with me.”

Waiting.

Everyone waiting on everyone. “The first thing you learn is that you always gotta wait” - Lou Reed.

Waiting heightens the intensity. Sam is powerless in waiting but Sam also grows in Power by waiting.

What next.

On Sunday.

On Sunday September 7 Adam went to Fresh Wind Christian Fellowship. The church was a small church. There were 50 chairs of various kinds scattered about and a black curtain backdrop and two wood crosses and two candles burning on small tables and one oil painting. Adam was greeted by a bald man in green flowers named Jeff. “The back rows are reserved for the people who have mental handicaps—they make a lot of noise,” said Jeff. Jeff went back to drumming on his djembe and Adam sat down. A man with a ten foot beard played an acoustic guitar. When the service started there were young families there and there were the people with mental handy caps.

The music started and the people in the back made lots of noise in worship and the kids talked to their drawings and some people sang along and in all there was freedom and joy.

This is what they sang:
They that wait on the Lord will renew their strength,
Run and not grow weary,
Walk and not faint...

But strength will come to those who wait.

Fall on me
Ever so gently
Breathe on these dry bones

And break these chains
Set me free

Praise Him at 9:32am
Praise Him when your blood sugar is low right before lunch
Praise Him when you go to the beach and then a thunderstorm comes and you say, “What the ______” and you have to go home.

Then they prayed, “Help me in my unbelief,” and they said, “I will praise you with all that I am.”

There was a short sermon and people broke up into groups and prayed and at the end of it all there was nothing left to say but, “Take all that I have because all that I have is worthless without you.”
